Tiger Aspect Productions is ramping up its U.S. business with an office in New York that will be run by Charles Brand and Jamie Munro.

Tiger Aspect Productions opened its first U.S. office in Washington D.C. in 2004, and has forged strong relationships with Discovery Channel, TLC and Animal Planet, among others. In addition to working with its existing partners, Tiger Aspect USA hopes to develop and produce new programmes for other networks in the U.S. market.

In conjunction with the new office announcement, Tiger Aspect has confirmed the appointment of Adam Steinman as head of development for Tiger Aspect USA. He was previously with the American arm of another British outfit: Lion Television USA. Steinman will work alongside Steve Werner, the VP of production management for Tiger Aspect USA, to put together development teams that can start pitching immediately.
